    This one can be explained easily. I have a 23 year old son…he is an adult child. Peter Pan was also an adult child.

    Hi! I have eight children. Yes, that's eight! And I am here to argue that the term 'adult children'is not an oxymoron. Trust me, and anyone who has more than 2.25 children.James

    Of course it is one of the most sublimely ridiculous oxymorons of all time. Grown Children is another example of the silly strings we put on blood or adoptive related children who, when they reach the age of 18 are no longer children by statute. Trust me I have 4 children(?)
