Definition of luck: Success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through one’s own actions.

Luck in no way means that it is specifically good. Even when something bad happens, people will say, “Just my luck.”

It is an oxymoron. Merriam Webster defines luck as ” to prosper or succeed especially through chance or good fortune”.
