How can treating illness be considered health care? Isn’t that illness care?
And what about the word “cure” and “healing” only being legally able to be used in conjunction with drugs when drugs only help manage illness or disease or pain?
And then there’s prevention. Prevention is now equated with early detection, as if it’s already a foregone conclusion that virtually everybody will develop cancer so the best way to attack it is to find it as early as possible. The problem is that cancer takes anywhere from 5 to 30 years to be big enough to be detectable.
